It’s been a while to write a post. It’s not that I don’t want to write something, but it’s just too many that I want to write. One day I wanted to write good things, but the next day something bad happened. It’s just keep going on like that, I don’t know if I want to write positive or negative post.

Feel stuck, can’t go forward, backward, upward, downward. Should I just go with the flow and see where the flow will bring me?

Can I run from this crazy world? I just want to be somewhere quite, and no distraction from this world. Where?

Halo Guys,

My team just won DOW Marketing Study Case Competition. It was really nice, the competition held by Society of Business Engineers (SBE). So people who participated were engineers. There were about 10 teams. In case you don’t know, DOW is a big Chemical Company, they even have offices and manufacturing sites in Indonesia. So happy, these would be a good thing to put on my resume.

It was really a nice experience, because I have to think as a business development team, and think about all strategies (pricing, branding, promotion, etc). None of the works involved engineering stuff. So it was really cool, something that I actually want to do as my future career.

We had almost 4 weeks to meet and come up with the solution (in these case Construction problems). After that, we did a presentation in front of the Project Director of Supply Chain and one woman from the Marketing Department. They had lots of criteria but basically they want to see how well we understand the problems and how consistent and deep our solution.

We did not expect to win, especially after they mention about what were they looking for and also when they mention the runner-up and why they chose the runner-up. "Nah, we were not better than them", or "Damn, we missed a lot of crucial points". I was shocked when the guy mention "Team 3 consists of Andrew, Emmanuel, Andry and Gabriel" hahahaha I was so happy until I could not smile.

Each of us got $150 Amazon.com gift certificate, nice huh? iPod already in my mind, any idea? hueuhehue
