Today was one of the best easter vigil that I ever had.
1. Chosen to be Indonesian Youth Adult Catholic president, even though not really sure if I can do good job, but I believe God will help me.
2. Sung really good songs on the easter, hey at least I can hold high E flat for 2 bars.
3. Volunteer for the easter vigil reception, nice food and drinks, I hate to dump all the fruit punch.

Everything went really well, and I couldn’t ask for more.

Gua lagi sebel ama temen gua yang perilakunya tuh seolah-olah bisa dan ngerti. Seolah2 dia udah jago dan udah tahu harus ngapain. Malah ngajarin orang laen lagi. Padahal!!!!!!!!!!! dia sendiri ga tahu ETIKA, ngaku2 udah sering aktif dan ngaku2 bagus lagi. Padahal!!!!!! suka salah sendiri.

Sekarang hal yang paling penting dan harusnya udah sadar sendiri harus ngapain aja dia langgar sendiri cuma karena orang laen yang menurutnya penting.

Padahal ngaku-ngaku udah sering jadi anggota dari ETIKA itu sendiri.

Blog kali ini gua tulis berdasarkan cerita-cerita dari temen gua aja nih. Trus gua suka bingung kenapa mereka begitu.

Jadi ya temen-temen tahulah sibuknya anak kuliah, tugas, ujian, dll. Apalagi di Purdue sini sih berasa aja, namanya weekend itu artinya bisa kerjain tugas / belajar lebih lama. Sehingga terkadang muncul kalimat "aduh gua kayaknya ga gereja deh, sibuk nih belum belajar" atau "sorry gua ga ke gereja, tugas numpuk trus ada exam" ya pokoknya nadanya seperti itulah.

Gua jadi bingung, gua bukannya mau jadi orang sok rajin ke gereja, tapi segitu sibuknya kah sehingga kita tidak sempet utk ke gereja walau cuma 1-1.5 jam. Hmmm emang sih 1-1.5 jam itu lumayan buat belajar, tapi…gimana ya…buat ke gereja gituloh.

Hmmm gua ga nyalahin temen gua yang suka gini sih, cuma gua jujur aja pengen tahu cara pikirnya gimana sehingga bisa lebih milih belajar daripada sempetin waktu ke gereja dtg misa.

Gua lagi capeeekkk banget, beneran capek fisik gitulah, rasanya badan nih parah semua.

Puncaknya hari ini ada 2 exam dan hari tuh kayaknya panjang banget, apalagi dengan badan yang super capek sejak hari jumat. Tapi somehow kok gua ngerasa, malah banyak yang nanya ke gua "gimana examnya?", gua ga tahu apa itu bener-bener perhatian atau jangan2 cuma gara2 gua teriak kesana kemari klo gua ada exam haizzz.
Tapi think positifnya aje deh…emang mereka perhatian ama gua kok. Don’t know why it makes me ssooo relief, I have friends who always support me in whatever I do, isn’t that good?

Since I’m still tired, I’ll end my post here.

Lent

The season of Lent is a time to reflect more deeply on our Christian
journey, to slow down and to look at our priorities and turn toward
God. There are two Lenten themes which help us prepare for the great
feast of Easter: Recalling/preparing for our Baptism and Penance.

Lent Regulations

Abstinence: All who are 14 yrs. or older are bound by the law
of the Church to abstain from eating meat on Ash Wednesday and all
Fridays during Lent. If health or ability to work are affected,
abstinence is not obligatory.

Fasting: All between the ages of 18 and 59 yrs. of age are
obliged to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Fasting means that
one full meatless meal per day may be eaten; two other meatless meals
may be taken sufficient to maintain strength, but together should not
equal a full meal. Liquids, including milk and fruit juice, may be
taken between meals. If health or ability to work are affected, fasting
is not obligatory. Parents of children not bound by the laws of fasting
and abstinence are to educate their children in an authentic sense of
penance, conversion and reconciliation.

Lenten Observence: All are encouraged to increase their
participation in the Eucharistic liturgy, the Sacrament of
Reconciliation and public devotions as well as increasing their private
devotional practices.

Easter Duty: All the faithful who have already been initiated
into the Eucharist are bound to receive Communion once a year during
the Easter Season (from the First Sunday of Lent until Trinity Sunday).
Each of the faithful is also obligaed to confess all serious sins at
least once a year.

Just want to say HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!

So sad that today will be another valentines that I can’t spend my time with someone that I wish is here next to me right now. But it’s ok, Valentines it’s not only for a couple, but also for friends and family. It was not that bad, actually, at least Purdue canceled all their classes and snow is everywhere in Purdue right now.

So to all my friends HAPPY VALENTINE!!!
